Assignments listed here represent the "Plan" for the week.  Plans of course are subject to change as needed, so this should not be considered the last word on what will take place in class or will be assigned for homework.  When plans do change however, the changes will be reflected here (hopefully by the evening of the day in which they are known to exist).

Book Project Presentations Continue

Monday - 1st and 2nd Period Midterms

  • Students in 1st and 2nd Period will present book project presentations.
  • Students in 3rd and 4th period will complete any missing major assignments they may still be attempting to complete.

Homework: Students do not have any additional homework this week besides the completion of book project presentations and argumentative essays which are already late.

Tuesday - 3rd and 4th Period Midterms

  • Students in 3rd and 4th Period will present book project presentations.
  • Students in 5th and 6th period will complete any missing major assignments they may still be attempting to complete.

Homework: Students do not have any additional homework this week besides the completion of book project presentations and argumentative essays which are already late.

Wednesday - 5th and 6th Period Midterms

  • Students in 5th and 6th Period will present book project presentations.
  • Students in7th and 1st period will complete any missing major assignments they may still be attempting to complete.

Thursday - ELA Reading Inventory

  • Students complete the Reading Inventory today to determine progress on the development of their reading level for the year.  Students who demonstrate improvement will contribute positively to their grades.

Friday  - Make-Up Day for Midterms and late book project presentations.

  • Students in 7th Period will present their book projects today.

Homework: Students who complete the Pinellas County Winter Holiday Challenge will begin the 2nd Semester with Extra Credit.  Students are encouraged to complete and properly document as many of these activities as they can.
